Dues are usually paid yearly in September.  We have several levels of dues, so you can decide how to support the Columbus Alumane Chapter:

  • Standard $40
  • New Grad $30
  • Silver Sister (age 60 +) $30
  • Themis $50
  • While violet $75
  • Crown $100

Please make your check payable to "Columbus Alumane of Zeta Tau Alpha" and mail it to the address below or bring it to the next meeting.  Also, please e-mail (margaretdowell@hotmail.com) or call (614-806-3318) if you have any questions about dues or how the chapter funds are spent.

If you have ever wondered where your dues check goes, here’s a breakdown:

·         $15 national fees (to ZTA International Office)

·         $2 to the ZTA Foundation (Second Century Fund)

·         $23 to the local chapter

One perk of membership is that ZTA has teamed up with Condé Nast magazines to provide a subscription of Lucky magazine to all paid alumnae members!

The ZTA Foundation uses our Second Century Fund contributions to help pay for scholarships, the Traveling Leadership Consultants (TLC) program, leadership training, and philanthropy including donations to Susan G. Komen For the Cure.

Locally, we use dues to fund:

·         Service projects

·         Alumnae-Collegiate expenses (such as taking goodies to Ohio Northern for Founder’s Day and helping to sponsor collegiate State-Wide Officer Training)

·         Donations to collegiate philanthropy projects and other charitable causes

·         Dues to the Columbus Alumnae Panhellenic

·         Alumnae chapter recruitment expenses (including mailings to potential new alumnae members)

·         Website fees

·         And our largest expense, sending our chapter delegate to the ZTA’s National Convention every biennium.
